The Pumpkin & The Bee

Hey little pumpkin, you’re late to seed
But never mind we’ll plant and see.

“Hey what’s this?” Says the solitary bee
There he goes, and he lands on me.
But it all goes black, and the bee can’t see.

He crawls around on the upright ground
He can’t get out and he can’t find air.
So he stings my back, when I’m un-prepared.

The pain ain’t bad, and I didn’t even howl
But the bee is trapped between my shirt and back.

BUZZ, BUZZ, BUZZ
His wings fast howl.
He’s scraping skin, with scathing claws.

Making my skin feel red raw,
The shirt comes off
And the bee buzzes off.

Sit’s on the sill and is waiting to die
Oh little bee, my backs all red
You’ve not only stung me, your legs dug in me.

Oh little bee I’d avoided it much
27 years before I’ve been stung by your touch.

Writing flows

Magic comes, and magic goes.

But in all this the writing flows.

Homemade notebook

Another home made notebook, I am trying to cover them in materials whose original uses have become obsolete like old clothes. This one is made from off cuts of a table cloth that had to be trimmed down because we bought too much.
